To preserve and protect Mexican wolves, American Red Wolves, and other wild canid species, with purpose and passion, through carefully managed breeding, research, reintroduction and inspiring education programs.
A Legacy of Conservation
Carol and Dr. Marlin Perkins founded the Center as a conservation center for the world's most endangered canids. Then explain how the Center developed specialized husbandry techniques and became involved in breeding for recovery, conservation programs, and behavioral, reproductive, genetic, and nutritional research.
